The Road Not taken

I had to memorize the poem below in the 7th grade. It impacted my life tremendously. I know that I have given my parents more than a couple gray hairs because I am forever taking the "road less traveled". But that's me. Never take the easy way out. Just wanted to share my favorite poem. Enjoy!
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference...

My husband loves this poem and has it printed/framed in his office. Its a beautiful one for sure.

WOW! Your like the second person who has read every single one of my blogs this week and like I told the other blogger, thats a whole lot of reading! Thanks so much for following me and I too look forward to knowing you better! I actually found your blog following form one blog to another to another....YOu know how that goes:p My sister in-law lives near Ft. Hood, Tx...Their not military or anything though...So will you be moving back to TX once your husband returns? BTW, congrats! Its always exciting when they come home:p
