Bring on the rain

One of my favorite songs of all time is "Bring On the Rain", by Jo Dee Messina. This past week, I have listened to this song more times than I'd care to think about. It always gives me the motivation I need to pick up and keep going. Here are the words - maybe they'll brighten your day when you need it most!!

Another day has almost come and gone
Can't imagine what else could go wrong
Sometimes I'd like to hide away
Somewhere and lock the door
A single battle lost
But not the war
Cause tomorrow's another day
I'm thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain.

Its almost like the hard times circle round
A couple drops, and they all start coming down
Well I might feel defeated
And I might hang my head
I might be barely breathing,
but I'm not dead, no.
Cause tomorrow's another day
I'm thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain.

No I'm not gonna let it get me down
I'm not gonna cry
And I'm not gonna lose any sleep tonight
Cause tomorrow's another day
I'm thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain.

We are in the 90 day window. Probably more like the 60 day, but I like to give the Army a little breathing room!! Yay!!!!

Christan - I'm not sure if you remember me but I went to church with you guys at Wellford. (Anna Rich at the time). I read your blog often pray for you and your family even more! Your strength and optimism are amazing. Hang in there!
